KARACHI: Stringent security measures have been taken for the EXPO Pakistan Exhibition 2008 starting here in Karachi from today.SSP security Maqsood Ahmed told Geo News the exhibition is of International category wherein more than 700 foreigners of over 40 countries would hold more than 100 stalls.Security for EXPO 2008 has been beefed up in and around EXPO center Karachi for which free corridor for the sake of foreigners’ security has been set up from hotels to airport.More than 450 police officials have been deployed for security purpose who will be backed by Rangers’ officials. Meanwhile, control rooms have been set up at airport, PIDC, DJ Science College ground and in EXPO center itself for keeping the law and order situation under control.
