Police Given Seven-Day Extension in Remand Of Marriott Hotel Suicide Blast Accused


RAWALPINDI: Anti-Terrorism Special Court on Sunday granted a seven-day extension of physical remand of four accused for their alleged involvement in Marriott Hotel suicide blast.
The court adjourned the hearing till October 31.
The Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC), Rawalpindi, gave the four accused Dr. Usman, Rana Ilyas, Hamid Afzal and Tahseen Ullah in police custody on a 7-day remand and adjourned the hearing for one week.
Earlier, the four accused were produced before the special judicial magistrate amid tight security.
