RAWALPINDI: Maj General (rtd) Mir Faisal Alvi has been killed near Bahria Town in the firing incident on Wednesday.Faisal Alvi was the former Chairman of Special Service Group (SSG) of Pakistan Army.Some unidentified miscreants riding a motorbike and jeep opened reckless fire on Faisal Alvi, as a result of which, he and his driver Tanvir were killed on the spot.Maj General (rtd) Faisal Alvi was en route to Islamabad from his residence in Bahria Town.
