Rupee up against dollar


ISLAMABAD: The rupee value improved by paisas 10 against the US dollar during trading at the Interbank on Thursday.Forex market dealers said the dollar is being traded at Rs 80.95 at the inter-bank. The rupee gained nominal increase of paisas 10 in its value against the greenback. The demand of American currency dropped after oil payments, resulting in nominal increase of rupee value, analysts said.In open market, the US dollar was being bought at Rs 82 and sold for Rs 82.50, according to sources.
