MIRANSHAH: A US drone aircraft fired a missile in the North Waziristan tribal region killing at least five militants including three foreigners and injuring eight, a western news agency claimed Saturday.American Security officials have claimed killings of a high profile militant Abu Asar Al-Misri and Rashid Rouf in the drone attack.However the Pakistani security officials refused verifying the deaths.It is worth mentioning here that Rashid Rouf had fled from police detention mysteriously while moving to Adiyala prison in 2007.The attack on a house near the town of Mir Ali came just two days after Pakistan lodged a protest with the U.S. ambassador over missile attacks on its territory."Two missiles were fired by the drone on a house... Four people were killed," an intelligence officer in the region said. Another officer said three missiles were fired.
