
NEW YORK: President Asif Ali Zardari met Director of US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Michael Hayden here today and discussed issued including war on terror.The sources said that both the leaders had elaborate discussions on Pak-Afghan border situation and military action being taken there against Taliban-related extremists.Hayden agreed with Zardari that missiles attacks should be eliminated forthwith, as according to Zardari, these attacks have triggered problems for the democratic government in Pakistan.Earlier president rang up Senator Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright, the special correspondent to president-elect Barak Obama.In the meeting Clinton extended full support to President Zardari for $15 billion assistance under the Biden-Lugar bill for next ten years as a long-term engagement with Pakistan. Zardari discussed bilateral issues in meeting with Albright, who is participating in G-20 conference as correspondent to Obama.Earlier president Zardari telephoned Senator John Kerry and discussed bilateral issues.
